Craig Group believes in supporting our local community with a new Maggie's Cancer Care Centre that provides support and on-site services to people across Grampian.
As part of the company’s 80th year celebrations, Craig Group made a substantial donation to the new Maggie’s Centre in Aberdeen.
The centre plays a vital role in helping families affected by cancer across the North East of Scotland by providing emotional, practical and social support to those in need.
Douglas Craig said,
“As part of our corporate social responsibility strategy, we believe in giving back to our community and feel strongly about helping worthwhile causes. The Maggie’s Centre aims to bring joy and hope to cancer patients through providing comfortable surroundings, professional help and to let people engage with others going through a similar experience. It is important we contribute to a much needed facility that the people of the North East can benefit from.”
Maggie’s Chief Executive Laura Lee commented,
“Maggie’s is bringing something unique to Aberdeen, which is why we will slot in well with the other existing services here. We are proud to bring Maggie’s to the city and to be part of such a good support network for people affected by cancer across the region.”
