British Safety Award for 6th consecutive year

May 2007 - North Star Shipping has scooped a aprestigious safety award from one of the world's leading training and advisory bodies.Following gruelling tests by a strict independent adjudicating panel, North Star Shiping was given the esteemed International Safety Award by the British Safety Council.
Only companies with below average accident rates are eligible to apply and winners must also have good safety policies, plans and commitment to health and safety at the highest level.
Prime Minister Tony Blair added his support: "I offer my congratulations to all of the organisations being presented with this award by the British Safety Council. These awards recognise the critical success they have achieved in their pursuit of excellence in the management of health, safety, and environmental matters".
The awards ceremony will take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London on Firday 18th of May 2007.
