North Star Shipping are credited as having one of the best safety records in the North Sea. Recipients of the Scottish Offshore Achievement Award for Safety and ten consecutive British Safety Council Accolades, we place safety as the most critical element in all our operations.
Our £130 million investment programme which began in 2003 and was completed with the delivery of the Grampian Citadel at the end of 2010, has resulted in the addition of 16 new vessels to our fleet. These are a mix of Offshore Support, Platform Supply, Tanker Assist, ROV Survey and Emergency Response and Rescue Vessels (ERRVs).
A further £35 million investment in our fleet will see the delivery of 4 new 'D-Class' ERRVs entering service in 2012. This continuous investment has resulted in 70% of our fleet being renewed.
