Young Masters Golf Programme
The Kings Links Golf Centre is offering boys and girls the chance to follow in the footsteps of Tiger Woods and Annika Sorenstam through the exiting Young Masters Golf (YMG) programme.
The YMG sessions offer boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 16 years a comprehensive introduction to the game of golf.
The success of Tiger and Annika have made golf extremely attractive to youngsters, but the problem for most has been how to get started in the game. At the Kings Links, you don’t have to own your own clubs. All the equipment will be provided.
We coach not only the fundamentals of the golf swing but also the rules and etiquette of the game. Honesty, integrity and sportsmanship are all cornerstones of golf and are great values for youngsters to understand. Not many sports allow the player to referee themselves!
- Each level has 8 weekly sessions lasting 1 hour. Fun challenges and mini-competitions ensure that the whole experience is about enjoyment. On completion of a level , a certificate is presented and the option to move up to the next stage and develop the game further.
- The Kings Links Golf Centre is one of 300 in the U.K. to be chosen to deliver the YMG programme.
- Sessions are held weekends and after school during the week at a cost of £85.00 to cover the 8 weeks.
Many youngsters are already benefiting from being on the YMG programme at Kings Links where they can progress through 7 levels by which time they will be extremely competent and knowledgeable young golfers.
